What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion uses a combination of vacuum suction and exfoliation to polish away dead skin cells and unclog pores revealing a softer and smoother complexion.

Am I suitable for Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is suitable for all skin types. Your treatment can be customized by adjusting the suction level to suit your comfort during treatment. Always commence your treatment with the lower suction and increase to suit your comfort levels.

How much Pressure do I apply?

Microdermabrasion is very comfortable. No firm pressure is required, simply hold the skin taut and glide the suction tip over the skin. Red marks can occur when the suction tip is held over the same spot for too long or if the suction level is too high. The Microdermabrasion Tool may exfoliate beyond the surface dead skin if unnecessary pressure is applied.

LEVEL 2 = Medium

LEVEL 3 =High

Do I need to do anything in between treatments?

Continue with your daily skincare routine to ensure rehydration after treatment for optimal results. Refrain from using other forms of exfoliation in conjunction with the treatment, including chemical peels, skincare containing acids including hydroxy acids, malic acids, lactic acids and retinol.

How often should I use my Microdermabrasion Kit?

One treatment per week is all that you need for softer and smoother skin. The frequency of use will depend on your individual skin concerns and skin type. When used consistently you will continue to see results and a more refined complexion.

Can I use it on the face & body?

Microdermabrasion is generally applied to the face, but can also be effective when used on the body, including the back, arms & shoulders

How often should I replace the Filter?

We recommend replacing the Filter every 6-8 treatments for optimum treatment delivery and results.

How do I clean the Suction Heads?

After each use, remove the suction head and clean with Alcohol and a cotton tip. Ensure that it is completely dry before packing away to store.

Can I have a Microdermabrasion if I have a skin condition?
